For the price, this not a bad scanner. I have had all sorts of Canon scanners in the past, this is by far the better one that I have used so far. Size is pretty good. Not too bulky and heavy. The image being scanned are decent and sharp. If you just doing ordinary picture scanning, this scanner does it job. The software that comes with is somewhat easy to user for those not too familiar with scanning imaging software. However, the amount of editing you can do to the scanned image is somewhat limited. It is literally a plug and play scanner minus installed the driver and optional scanning software for the scanner. Overall, this scanner does what it is asked to do.
